Richard didn’t really know much about Ariadne’s life prior to her coming into his life, so when she mentioned being a waitress, he pursed his lips, not liking the image at all. He didn’t want her to be a waitress or anything for that matter. She was too serve only him, and no one else. Fierce eyes looked at her before taking a sip of his glass. “I’m happy you are not working there. I would have never found you if that was the case.” he said, watching her as she ate, gauging the quality of the food solely on her reactions, but it was good to hear an opinion as well. “So, how do you like it? Do I need to fire anybody?” he asked, turning towards the kitchen, watching the manager with narrow eyes before turning his attention back to his date.

"Both of those options, sound lovely. Are you jealous if I play with the slaves while you paint?" he smirked. Richard could do anything he wanted, and if nobody voiced their feelings towards his actions, then he figured they didn’t care. Though he really did enjoy the idea of the woman painting herself instead of having models in her room, alone with her. He didn’t trust anybody, especially some scum slaves with no manners. "Whatever you want to do, princess. Just spend your allowance wisely…"

“Me too, and I’m grateful you found me,” she said with a smile. Richard had two sides, and while his more darker side still made her nervous, Ariadne felt protected under his ownership, and often feel grateful for all his gestures, to her new bedroom and the credit card, he seemed to like and spoiled her, her and Kyle . A waiter brought her a beautiful arranged plate of Sole Meunière, a small white ramekin was a Cheese Soufflé, and a refill of her white wine. Thank him , she put the cloth napkin on her lap, cutting a small piece of the fish, she take a bite, the smile widening at the savory butter and lemon. Taking more bites before tasting the cheese soufflé, all food heavenly and delicious. “ I love it, I never had French cuisine before. And I can see I made huge mistake for not trying it.”

Half plate latter, she lowered her fork, considering his question, a little unsure if he approves her ugly jealousy, but she knew Richard was a man who appreciates sincerity, “I would be jealous… Me and Kyle are yours,” she bite back the word ‘slave’, still hard to admit, “Do you want others still?…Are we no satisfying to you?” the human asked more sedately, before nodding at his assessment of spending the money he gave her wisely. Returning her attention to the food, she ate in silence.

Richard had been able to sneak in an order for him as well, and he enjoyed his food greatly. It wasn't quite like how his human wife had made, but it was close enough. Things were different now, the ingredients, appliances, almost everything was modern and new so the food lost it's originality almost instantly. He took a sip of his wine and looked at Ariadne, shocked that she was being so fierce with him. It was nice, it showed that she really cared for him and that made him upset in a way, because it meant that he was being too nice to his slaves. It didn't matter, they were his slaves and that was all that mattered.
He cleared his throat, took a piece of cheese and placed it in his mouth, taking a few bits to savor the taste and then focused back on Ariadne. He wanted to test her, get under her skin, what was the worst she could do? Nothing, she had no rights, nothing, and if she disobeyed him, well then, consequences would be in order. "If I want someone else, I will get them and you have no right to say anything about it, understand." he replied, staring at her for a moment. How dare she talk to him like that. "You are satisfying." Richard said, a hint of sarcasm in his voice, he was getting annoyed with her. What more did she want? He was giving her everything and yet she insisted on acting like brat.

Being an artist meant to be observant of people, how they move, every detail of their bodies. So she catch up quite easily when he show unpleased with her questions. Tensing a little, she looked to her half-eaten dinner, fully knowing the last thing she wanted was a displeased Richard. He can be kind as he can be cruel. Twisting the end of the cloth napkin on her lap, she nodded as he talked, and she felt the collar on her neck tighten, the tattoo on her wrist heavy and painful once again.

“I’m sorry Richard, I forgot my place,” she said weakly, biting slightly her lower lip, how foolishly she was for forgetting for a moment she was only a slave, a possession of his. That he liked to dote on her wasn’t a sign he saw her as a person or respected as one, she was foolish for believing even a second. Taking the glass of wine, ignoring the slight tremble on her hand, she took a sip, the bittersweet of the drink did nothing to calm her nerves.

He watched her and smirked. She was trembling like the weak human she was and he was just pleased. She needed him, couldn't live without him. She was all his and there was nothing she could do about, or if she tried, it wouldn't end well. "Make sure you remember your place Ariadne..." he replied, sipping on his own wine. Ariadne was a good girl, lovely girl even, but she needed to learn what her place was even though he provided anything she wanted for her. There was a reason why she was a slave, and that was just the way it was, the cold harsh truth. It wasn't his fault that he playing domestic had thrown her off.

"So, you mentioned models. Does it have to be other slaves or what do you prefer?" he muttered, talking about art might calm her down a bit. He hoped that with the credit card he had given her, she'd get the best art supplies that money could buy. She deserved that at least, it would keep her busy and most importantly talking to others that didn't need to be talked to. He leaned back in his chair for a minute, then went forward and continued to eat his food.

Ignoring the dread setting on her stomach, she hear his words, nodding as he remind her of her place, “I will, Richard.” A more rebellious part of herself wanted to scream at him, to tell him she was a person, with feelings, with a family, a real home, she was supposed to be free as the bird tattooed in her skin, not. But doing that with only will bring her unnecessary grief, grief she didn’t need to. So she stayed quiet, eating small bite of her dinner, ignoring she was no longer hungry.

“I can be the model myself, if that’s okay,” doubt was clear on her tone. In reality she rarely used herself as a model, often not finding herself as beautiful as other people, and overall the fact she needed to get pictures of herself posing. She will have to drag the big mirror in the walk in closet and get a nice camera, hoping she would make it with her new credit card. “ It’s quite easier though…” The human blushed, realizing she eventually had to be nude for some painting she wanted to do, so that mean she will have to get pictured of herself naked, or worse, sketch naked to observe her body.

He was bored with this dinner, she hadn't entertained them in the least and that was upsetting. She was more than that, she had to be; why else would he have spent so much money on her? She was wonderful, the sex was even better but sometimes she just got on his nerves. He tried not to worry about it too much, he had other things to keep him busy, and had someone else to fuck if he got really annoyed with her. Ariadne was his princess, but sometimes he needed a break if anything.

'Well, we can do whatever you want darling. You could hire models or just do it on your own, either way the luxury is there for you to play with." he said in a silky voice, making sure that he was clear enough for her to understand. He gestured towards the waiter to come over to get their plates. "Would you like desert?" he asked her.

“No thank you, I’m full. All the food was lovely, I may have to learn how to cook like this for us back in the house.” Good God she was rambling like nervous highschooler, and if she thought about it, she was barely out of high school before she got abducted force into slavery. Ignoring that particular line of thought she looked to him. “You co-own the hotel, right? It’s okay if I can I see your office?”

She had to admit she was curious if his office was as grand and elegant as hi house, or maybe he go a different route to fit the modern elegance the hotel had. And besides she hoped if they were alone, she could talk calmer in front of him, feeling she just made herself a fumbling fool in front of him during all dinner. When he agrees, she stood up, taking the small handbag in one hand, the other taking the crook of his arm, walking next to him to the elevator once again.

He had wanted to try some of the desert but since Ariadne seemed eager to see his office, he simply stood up and pushed the waiter away. Richard got out his wallet and tipped him a bill, and nodded a thanks to him before walking over to Ariadne and held out his arm for her. She gladly took it and they both went into the elevator and he pushed the button to his office. The vampire stood straight and tall, nothing was out of place and he felt absolutely powerful. He could eat the elegance that he radiated but instead he kept his mouth shut, not wanting to destroy the poor girl with how well off he was. It was cruel to say the least, and hadn't she suffered enough?

He liked where this was going though and he didn't hint that he knew exactly what she was going to do, because he could be completely wrong. It seemed that she liked to see his things, comment on how beautiful, how rich he was. Richard was used to it, and it didn't bother him much, but still, it was like a broken record and he couldn't get rid of it, but there was always the option of cutting their throat to keep them from speaking ever again. " I feel like you will like the office, it's not like the house at all, it goes well with the interior of the hotel more than anything, a great sight viewing window as well." The elevator beeped and the doors opened to his office.
